Serving as a virtual assistant in a new chat feature, SkyBot will help you find a solution to your most commonly asked Otis questions. You can access SkyBot 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day!
Start a chat with SkyBot by clicking the message icon in the upper right corner of your Otis screen.
After clicking the message icon, a chat box will open and you can type your question about your Otis portal.
Questions such as — How do I add an instructor? Where can I create a Help Desk ticket? How do I change my TC name? — will allow SkyBot to automatically generate answers you can use to quickly solve your issue.

Our production team has been working on an updated version of the HSI Emergency Medical Response (EMR) | For Non-EMS Personnel training program.
EMR provides a detailed and comprehensive approach for managing out-of-hospital medical emergencies prior to the arrival of EMS.
In the coming weeks, additional details about the transition to the new program will be sent in a separate email to Training Centers who use the current EMR program.

The "An AED Can Save a Life" flyer highlights the lifesaving benefits of AEDs and stresses the importance of having them readily available in all types of businesses and public places.

Attention: TCs Offering Mariner Training and Certification for USCG Regulatory Compliance
United States Coast Guard (USGC) marine inspectors and/or the National Maritime Center (NMC) staff will not accept the HSI Adult First Aid | CPR AED certification card as meeting the regulatory requirements for a Merchant Mariner Credential if it is not accompanied by the USCG approved HSI Recognition of Participation document.
We have been advised by the NMC on multiple occasions that mariners are not receiving the USCG approved and required HSI Recognition of Participation document. This document is included within the USCG Regulatory Compliance Requirements for Training U.S. Mariners.

A USCG approved HSI Recognition of Participation document must be issued to each mariner who successfully completes the class, along with a HSI Adult First Aid | CPR AED certification card.
