Professional Skills Development
Developing a Learning Culture
A learning culture transforms how your organization grows, innovates, and retains talent. This course explores ways to create a workplace where learning is supported, shared, and genuinely valued. You'll learn how to model development from the top down, structure meaningful learning experiences, and make knowledge sharing part of everyday work. With the right mindset and systems in place, learning can become a key part of your company’s identity.

Building an Effective Leadership Team
A leadership team drives the vision, culture, and long-term success of an organization. This course explores how leaders from diverse departments can align their strengths, foster collaboration, and overcome challenges together. Learners will discover strategies to build trust, set shared goals, and create an environment where every leader contributes to collective progress.

Developing Your Strenghts
This course focuses on identifying, building, and applying personal strengths for long-term career success. Learners will discover how to pinpoint their strongest skills, align them with professional goals, and develop them through targeted strategies. By practicing goal-setting and intentional reflection, you can turn your strengths into drivers of both performance and fulfillment.

Emergency Exits
Emergencies can happen at any time, and knowing how to exit a building safely can save lives. This course explores the requirements for emergency exit routes in the workplace, including design, signage, accessibility, and maintenance. Learners will also review evacuation procedures and the importance of regular drills to ensure everyone is prepared to respond quickly and safely.

Everyday Cybersecurity: Protecting Your Devices and Data
Cybersecurity is no longer just the responsibility of your IT department—it’s your responsibility, too. In this course, you’ll learn practical steps to keep your devices, accounts, and data secure in your daily life. From strong passwords to avoiding public Wi-Fi traps, you’ll gain the tools to protect your digital presence.

Persuasive Communication
Persuasive communication involves using words and actions to influence others, whether by shaping mindsets or encouraging action. Strong persuasion skills can lead to greater trust, stronger relationships, and increased opportunities for leadership.

Psychological Safety and Proactive Protection
This course equips leaders with practical strategies to create a work environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking up about safety concerns. You’ll learn how psychological safety directly improves incident prevention, increases near-miss reporting, and strengthens your overall safety culture so that your teams can proactively identify and address hazards before they lead to incidents.

Strategic Thinking
Strategic thinking is about more than solving the problem in front of you – it’s about understanding the big picture and planning for what’s next. Developing this mindset can help you identify opportunities, navigate uncertainty, and guide your organization toward long-term success. Here, you’ll learn how to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and build strategies that align with your goals and purpose.

The Growth Mindset
Perhaps you've heard people throwing around the phrase "growth mindset" lately. It's a popular topic right now. The source of all the chatter is Stanford professor, Carol Dweck's 2006 book called Mindset: The New Psychology of Success. Throughout her book, Dweck compares a GROWTH mindset with a FIXED mindset. In this series, we'll discuss the differences between these two mindsets. For this first program, we want you to understand the importance of embracing "yet," which comes from having a growth mindset. "Yet" means that you know or expect something to happen in the future. It just hasn't happened "by now."

The Growth Mindset: Developing a Growth Mindset
The Growth Mindset: The Limitations of a Fixed Mindset

Two-Wheeled Handcart
Two-wheeled handcarts – also called dollies or hand trucks – are essential for moving heavy or awkward loads safely. But careless use can lead to injuries, equipment damage, or unsafe working conditions. This course walks through best practices for inspecting, loading, and maneuvering handcarts on flat ground, stairs, and ramps.

Verbal Communication
Verbal communication is one of the most essential skills in the workplace, shaping how information is shared, understood, and acted upon. Effective speaking can improve collaboration, strengthen relationships, and create a more positive and productive environment.

What is OSHA?
This course introduces the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), explaining its mission, purpose, and the vital role it plays in ensuring workplace safety. Learners will understand employer responsibilities, worker rights, and the process for exercising those rights through proper channels.

Workforce Compliance and Safety
Golf Cart Safety
This lesson provides an introduction to the safe operation of golf and utility carts to prevent injury to pedestrians, operators, and their passengers.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods 1 – Introduction
This lesson is workers who perform functions covered under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations so they can recognize the purpose and key content of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, and understand the training required for compliance.

Industrial Skills
301-06-UKEU - Load Characteristics and Management
As distribution and transmission technologies improve, load area construction complexity also increases. Understanding load area characteristics and effectively managing load area balance and interchange requires familiarity with common terminology, demand, load and load-duration curves, load forecasting, and time-error correction. The Load Characteristics and Management training course discusses characteristics common to load area demand. It also explains how to use load and load-duration curves to assist in balancing interchange scheduling and conducting time error correction. This course is part of the Distribution Systems training series.

418-03 - Protection Relays
When you complete this lesson, you will be able to identify protection relay elements on an electrical drawing according to their ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standard device numbers. In addition, you will be able to describe basic relay operations and compare the accuracy and options provided by commonly used relays.
