Activate EMS and/or your emergency action plan (EAP)

New Instructor Reciprocity Course
Starting March 1, 2023, all new Instructors who are added using Reciprocity must complete the HSI Reciprocity course within the first 60 days of becoming an authorized HSI Instructor.
This online course is designed to provide an overview of HSI programs, available delivery methods, and Instructor materials and tools, specifically for Instructors who are currently authorized with another nationally recognized provider.
If the Reciprocity course is not completed within the first 60 days after an Instructor is added via Reciprocity, the Instructor will become inactive until the Reciprocity course is completed.

All authorized HSI Instructors must complete the HSI 2020 Instructor Update Course to be eligible to teach new HSI 2020 updated guideline programs. Instructors who did not complete this course were inactivated on January 9, 2023.
An email with a link to the Instructor Update Course was sent to all inactive Instructors on January 18, 2023, and again on February 8, 2023. To become active, all inactive Instructors must complete the courseby March 30, 2023.
